Conducting a Feasibility Study

Phase 2 of the MoU, UNET provides support to Project Leader and Technology Provider to draft and submit the FS to the International Financial Institutions (IFIs). Examples of such assistance:

  • Preparation of administrative and financial reports to the IFI regarding the use of the FS funds (funds committed, spent and available, by heading). For more information, see Mgt. Capacity services: Accounting and IT Solutions.
  • Define the blended-fund mechanism.
  • Coordination and monitoring of the environmental study and all other necessary studies, by recruiting any required experts.
  • Preparation in consultation with the Project Leader for the contractual, financial and legal arrangements of the Public-Private Partnership project.
  • Quality control of all the documentation of the FS before submission to the IFIs.
